Jeff Kuyper, Executive Director of Los Padres ForestWatch, talks about the Ojai Wild! event taking place on Saturday, April 4. The second annual creekside barbeque event is a benefit for Los Padres ForestWatch, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting our wild lands.  Beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Thacher School's picturesque Diamond Hitch Camp along the foothills of the beautiful Los Padres National Forest in Ojai, the event features appetizers, refreshments (including beer and wine), a gourmet barbeque supper under the oak trees (vegetarian option available), entertainment by the Iron Mountain Boys, wagon rides, and a guided nature walk. The event concludes at dusk with the Wilderness Legacy Awards and an auction featuring several unique items guaranteed to enhance your enjoyment of our region's wilderness landscapes.
